A recent survey from AAA reported that 64 million drivers in the U.S. couldn’t afford an unexpected vehicle repair without going into debt. Service Lane VSC Sales Tool
Budco Financial has just launched a Service Lane VSC Sales Tool, which is a web-based application that allows dealership employees to scan the VIN from a vehicle with a hand-held device, then scan the customer’s driver’s license and quickly get a VSC sales quote.
The application allows automotive dealerships to present and sell VSC products outside the F&I office—in the service drive, in quick lube bays and in the body shop. This tool gives the dealership total control over the VSC product offering and pricing. And with no paperwork necessary, a VSC product can be sold within 5-10 minutes.
Budco Financial works to make the process simple and seamless. The VSC Contract and Retail Installment Contract can be integrated or processed via email. And if dealer desires, they don’t need to collect funds—the application will take care of collecting a down payment from the customer and processing all recurring payment plan billing. After that, Budco Financial then funds the dealership in full.
To make the hand-held application more consumer friendly, dealerships can give customers the option to conduct self-serve VSC contracting on their desktop by providing a link to the application on their dealership website.

Using the Application

Customers will have the option to customize their plan with flexible consumer payment terms and methods of payment. Dealership will have control over the consumer down payment and dealership payment options as well.
